There are many medical treatments available for treating cellulite. But you need to use them regularly. If you stop the treatment, the cellulite will reappear. Make it a part of your regular beauty treatment, leading to considerable reduction in the appearance of cellulite.

There are some over-the-counter cellulite treatments that are very effective in minimizing the appearance of cellulite. Cellulite creams, lotions and gels are widely used in treating cellulite. Massage the cellulite-prone areas vigorously for some time to make these products work better. Massaging improves the blood circulation to the affected parts. It destroys the collagen bands that are responsible for constriction, giving the puckered look to the affected areas. The smoothing and tightening chemicals caffeine and aminophylline; present in the skin will smoothen and tighten the skin.

You can also go for endermology, which is a big mechanical pressure device. It uses the same process as that used by the rolling pin when it rolls out the dough while making cookies. This device kneads the affected areas with great pressure to destroy the collagen bands. It leads to smoothening of the puckered area, giving it an even and toned look. Many users have reported excellent results by using this device. But the cost, repeated visits for treatment, uncomfortable and at times slight pain causing temporary bruising are the major disadvantages of this method.
Oral remedies either herbal or medical are also available for cellulite. But their effectiveness is yet to be proved. Hence use extreme caution when opting for this method.

There is no known cause of cellulite. Hence there is no safe and permanent treatment yet. Since women are usually affected, hormones could be one of the prime causes. Age, diet, genetics, and fitness or activity level are the other main causes of cellulite. Constant weight changes, high fat diets, and excessive carbonated beverages have also been blamed for the problem. Regularly performing strength and toning exercises and keeping weight steady are useful tools in your fight against cellulite.

Sounds similar to a scam that’s been operating with a home machine version. Try it only if you have the money to lose and don’t mind losing it. This sort of approach is not so much “treatment” as a gamble. Same with the “laser” offerings. I read somewhere that these snake oil “treatments” have been around since the Egyhptians first tried using coal tar as a beauty aid and Roman prostitues were
drinking turpentine to perfume their genitals. When Edison and Faraday did their trick with electricty, electric lights were installed in
“cellulite reduction baths” into which the person being “treated” sat while water was poured in and the lights around the perimiter switched on. God knows how many people risked electrocution.

And then there were sulphur and coffee enemas for slimming. Yuk…! Although not a bad idea to help win a marathon race. Must try it.

When Roentgen discovered “X-rays” the unscupulous or prolly more like the idiot fringe of the medical frat charged high prices to subject adolescents to half hour session with their heads underneath an X-ray tube having their pimples radiated.

X-rays were also used as a “treatment” for cellulite.

Radio transmitters were the next popular idea that twit doctors
promoted as a way of paying for their Mercedes cars and indoor swimming pools.

You might enjoy the sensation of ultra sonic frequency pulsing through your buttocks. And if sexual gratification is adequate consolation, then go for it. Cheaper, but, to sit on the washing machine while its going through heavy duty spin cycle.

For my money, I’d be buttock walking along the floor for half an hour morning and night, playhing more tennis, riding my bicycle before breakfast, abseiling, taking up mountain bike riding, triathlete events, ocean swimming – a chance to scavenge seaweed and kelp fronds to take back, heat up, and wrap around cellulite thighs.

And the money you save not subjecting your thighs and buttocks to sonic attack can be better spent holidaying by the sea, collecting kelp, riding a bicycle, playing all the aforementioned sports with vigour.

If nothing else, you’ll be too fit, too toned, too exhausted to care.

ngo matter how healthy you eat. or how much you exercise celulite will not go away. cellulite is fat deposits on the skin. i am thin and have cellulit on my butt, back of my legs, inner and outter thighs.

i have read online that rubbing olive oil or vegetabkle oil in circular motions on your ski for 5 minutes each day will reduce the appearacne but it gets tiring, ive tried it! lol i didnt do it long wnough to see results though.

Dove firming lotion works good. it has collagen and sea weed in it which are good for firming. the directions also say to rub this on in circular motions. i have been using it eveyday for a week and have already seen results =) but exercise and drinking alot of water will do you no good! no matter how hard you try it will not go away. rubbing your skin in circular motions and deep massaging in the area boosts collagen filling in those indentations , same like collagen filling in wrinkles on your face. its all about the motion. while i was buying dove the other day loreal had a more expensive brand and i looked and the directions just showed pictures of rubbing (in cicular motuions) and deep massaging on the stomach.

so really its just how you rub your skin. but dove firming lotion is working great for me. like i said im thin and eat healthy and i still have it but its slowly going away, and becoming less noticealbe.

i do not know about dermasonic though =( sounds expensive! maybe you should try what i suggested first.

also always allow 6 months for a product to work! rule of thumb. no matter if it says you’ll see results in 2 or 3 weeks. always allow it up to 6 months!. better get started b4 swim suit season next year! =)

    good luck
